Judith Ahlbeck – MSW, LISW-S

Judith Ahlbeck specializes in marriage and family counseling, parenting, depression and anxiety, co-dependency, work-related issues, women’s issues, and general clinical social work. EAP and brief therapy clients are welcome. She has 28 years experience in practical problem-solving to offer clients.


Dan Bastin – MSW, LISW-S, ACSW

Rev. Dan E. Bastin is a graduate of Bowling Green State University receiving a BA in Psychology. He has also completed his Masters of Divinity at the Presbyterian Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been a minister for forty five years. Having ten years experience in the Beaver Valley Industrial Ministry (labor and industrial management was the focus), Mr. Bastin entered the Master of Social Work degree program at the University of Pittsburgh, receiving the Masters degree.

Dan has more than forty years of experience in therapy by way of ministry, and as a Social Worker. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the formal process in which clients are engaged. Populations served include youth, teens, adults, and older adults. Mental health issues addressed include ADHD, OCD, Depression and Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, Substance Abuse and Marriage and Family Therapy. Rev. Bastin is licensed (I-378) by the Social Worker, Counselor and Family Therapy Board of Ohio.


Yolanda C. Fairfax, M.A. PC.

Yolanda Fairfax is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in diagnosing and providing treatment of mental health disorders, career counseling, personal and social counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, pastoral counseling, emotional disorders, adult children of sexual abuse.

Denise Hatter – Fisher, Ph. D. Clinical Director

Dr. Hatter-Fisher is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience providing mental health services to a diverse clientele.She provides psychological services for a variety of clinical concerns, and has extensive experience working with individuals presenting with anxiety, stress, and mood disorder concerns. She employs the use of biofeedback as an adjunct to therapy when appropriate.


Kris Hausser, MSW, LISW-S

Kris Hausser is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervisory credential with twenty years experience in the social work field. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches and is trained in the use of EMDR. She has experience working with a variety of client issues including depression; anxiety; anger management issues; relationship issues; women’s issues and many other life challenges


Kimberly Bozeman, M.A. PC.

Co-pastor Kimberly Bozeman is a graduate of Liberty University receiving a MA in Professional Counseling. She and her husband have been in ministry since 1997. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy are the processes normally utilized although she has an eclectic approach. Populations served include teens, adults, and senior adults. Mental health issues include: domestic violence, marital & pre-marital concerns, bipolar, ADD/ADHD, pastoral concerns, pastors wives, emotional disorders, parenting issues, and couples counseling.


Tenisha L. Johnson, Ed.S.,NCSP, MSW, LISW-S

Tenisha Johnson emphasizes a strength-based approach to therapy,while implementing cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused skill building. Her areas of professional interest include:depression,anxiety,relationship concerns, and interpersonal problem solving. She has 17 years of experience in community agencies and 13 years in public schools.


Henry Kaminski – MSW, LISW

Henry Kaminski is an Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with over 20 years of clinical counseling experience, starting with his time at The Ohio State University Medical Center in the Dept of Psychiatry, The Comprehensive Group, and now Apex Counseling Services . His practice methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Brief Solution Focused Counseling and Marriage/Couples Counseling. His client base consists of those 13 and older and primarily works with Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Anger Management, Problems in living, Adjustment Disorders, Stress Management, and doing Couples Work. He also provides Employee Assistance (EAP) onsite or off-site (in conjunction with insurance plans) in the community for many area businesses/employers and their employees.


Errol Bueche-MSW, LISW-S

Errol Bueche is a psychotherapist offering treatment in the range of marriage, family and work/career problems, or in issues of divorce and loss. Mr. Bueche is highly experienced in life-crisis intervention and management, as well as in clinical counseling for problems of bereavement or unresolved grief, and in the neurocognitive problems of the aged. His practice is psychodynamically based and utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach.


Daryush Parvinbenam, M.Ed, M.A, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS

Daryush is a Supervisor/Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor with Supervision endorsement. He has more than 20 years of experience in Individual and Group Psychotherapy.
Daryush specializes in treatment of Trauma, Substance Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Stress related problems, Different forms of Abuse and Maltreatment, Personality/Emotional issues, and family problems. He is a trained EMDR trauma, and Mindfulness based therapist. He is also a Motivational Interviewing trainer, and has provided numerous peer reviewed trainings and workshops nationally for professionals in mental health and substance abuse fields.


Barbara Reed, LPCC-S, LICDC-S

I am a professional counselor serving adults struggling with:addiction problems including co-existing disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family conflicts, a significant other’s alcohol/drug abuse, work and career challenges. In your assessment and treatment process, I utilize evidence-based protocols. I am trained in cognitive behavioral and motivational techniques, trauma work, and abstinence based AOD models. Accepting new clients.


Christina Scott, MSW, LISW

Ms. Scott is a licensed independent social worker with over 20 years experience helping people overcome difficulties, work through traumas, and learn effective coping skills. Ms. Scott works with children (ages 3-12), families and adults on a wide range of issues,including depression,anxiety, ADHD,adoption,family transitions,behavioral,and parenting issues, trauma,and stress management.

Ms. Scott is Level II trained in EMDR (Trauma Therapy)


Barbara Scott-Johnson, Ph.D.

Dr. Scott -Johnson is a licensed Psychologist with over 30 years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention and psychological testing to a diverse and multicultural population. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and pre-adolescents. Dr. Scott-Johnson’s areas of interest include the treatment of depression, grief and loss, anxiety, stress management, relationship and interpersonal problem-solving, anger and behavioral management.


Sue Smudz – MSW, LISW

Sue Smudz earned her degree at the Ohio State University. Sue counsels individuals and couples dealing with many issues including depression, anxiety, loss, stress, work problems, relationship and family problems. Sue’s approach is cognitive – behavioral and brief solution focused. With couples, Sue uses emotion-focused therapy and methods developed by the research of John Gottman, M.D. She has been practicing for 18 years.


Michael Stranges – M. Ed., LPCC

Mike Stranges is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with seven years experience. He earned his degree from the University of Dayton and works with individuals and couples. He uses Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic approaches and is trained in the use of EMDR. His specialties include working with issues of depression, anxiety, addiction, fears and relationships.


Richard Stranges – Ph. D.

Having been a professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a visiting professor at the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Stranges took an early retirement from The Ohio State University as Clinical Director of the Counseling and Consultation in order to devote more time to private practice. Some of the areas of his focus are relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and pain management.


Scherry Summers-M.A,PC

Scherry Summers is a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary where she earned a masters degree
in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.She specializes in diagnosing and treatment of mental health disorders,career counseling,personal and social counseling,marriage and family counseling, emotional disorders and crisis counseling.Scherry is presently a doctoral student at Liberty University pursuing a PhD in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.


William Vasilakis, Psy. D.

Dr. Vasilakis was educated in Chigago, Illinois where he grew up. He obtained his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. He has specialized in substance abuse and has a certification in forensic psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He has 25 years of experience in mental health and deals also with BWC pain management issues and conducts a variety of psychological evaluations in multiple areas.
